China warned America and said – now all three of us together will decide the future of the Global South.

Beijing. India, China and Russia together will now decide the future of the Global South. China has said this while warning America. China has reacted positively to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent visit to India. Describing the three countries (China, Russia and India) as important parts of the Global South, China said that good trilateral relations between them will prove beneficial for regional and global peace and stability.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said in a media briefing that China, Russia and India are emerging market economies and important members of the Global South. He said that maintaining friendly relations between the three countries is not only in their own interests, but is also conducive to regional and global peace, security, stability and prosperity. On India-China relations (which had cooled following the 2020 eastern Ladakh standoff and are now on the path to normalization), the spokesperson said China wants to foster sustained, strong and stable relations with India by taking a long-term perspective. He said that in the case of China-India relations, we are ready, together with India, to view and manage these relations from a strategic height and long-term perspective, so as to promote sustainable, sound and stable development of both countries, bring real benefits to both countries and their peoples, and contribute to peace and prosperity in Asia and beyond.
Let us tell you that President Putin came on an official visit to India on 4-5 December. This was his first visit to India after 2021. During this period, many important agreements were signed to increase trade, investment and economic cooperation between the two countries. The two sides also agreed to a long-term economic cooperation program with the aim of taking bilateral trade to US$100 billion by 2030. It is noteworthy that in view of the deep and strong relations between Beijing and Moscow, China was keeping a close eye on Putin’s visit to India. Responding to a question about Putin’s comments on New Delhi and Beijing relations ahead of the visit, Guo Jiakun said China is ready to advance bilateral relations with both Russia and India. In fact, in an interview before his visit to India, Putin had said that India and China are Russia’s closest friends and Moscow attaches great importance to these relations. He also said in an interview that he has full confidence that the leadership of India and China are capable of resolving mutual disputes on their own and that Russia has no right to interfere in their bilateral affairs. Chinese state media prominently published these comments of Putin on India-China relations.
