Munir’s stern warning to India – If attacked now, there will be a strong reply

Islamabad,. Pakistan’s new Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Asim Munir formally took charge at GHQ in Rawalpindi. He was given a guard of honor at the ceremony. In his first address after assuming office, he gave strong messages to the neighboring countries, especially India and Afghanistan.
CDF Munir said during the ceremony on Monday that no compromise of any kind is possible with the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Pakistan. He warned that if there is any attack on Pakistan in future, its response will be more sharp, swift and effective than before. Not only this, he directly said that India should not be under any misunderstanding. Pakistan itself will not allow anyone to be tested. If any aggressive step is taken, it will yield immediate results. He further said that modern warfare has now moved beyond traditional boundaries and has spread into new areas such as cyberspace, electromagnetic spectrum, space, information warfare, artificial intelligence and quantum technology. In such a situation, Pakistan’s forces also need to transform themselves with time.
In his address, Asim Munir also mentioned ‘Operation Sindoor’ which took place in May. He said that during that time Pakistan had given a befitting reply to India. Praising the tolerance and patience of Pakistani Army soldiers and civilians, he said that all sections of the country united and faced the challenges.
Field Marshal Munir also took a tough stance regarding Afghanistan. He gave a clear message to the Afghan Taliban, saying that they would have to choose between the Pakistan Taliban (TTP) and the Pakistan government. He alleged that terrorists operating from the soil of Afghanistan are getting support. He reiterated that Pakistan is a supporter of peace, but there will be no laxity regarding its security. Munir also said that the Afghan Taliban is providing support to groups which are also said to have links with India. Pakistan has long considered TTP a terrorist organization and has accused it of receiving support from India.
