According to the report of National Seismic Monitoring Center (NSMC), the intensity of this earthquake was 3.3. Its center was about 70 kilometers west of Khuzdar city. Whereas the depth was only 8 kilometers below the ground. Due to the continuous movement here, small and medium scale earthquakes keep occurring. As soon as the earthquake struck, there was chaos in Khuzdar and surrounding areas. People started running out of their homes and buildings towards open fields. Balochistan has faced devastating earthquakes before, so even a mild tremor scares people with nostalgia.
