Emraan Hashmi’s film Awarapan was released in the year 2007. The sequel of this film is coming after years. The film was earlier scheduled to release in the month of April this year i.e. 2026. But now its release date has been extended to May or June. It was being said that due to the success of Dhurandhar, the release date of Awarapan was being postponed, but now filmmaker Mukesh Bhatt has given the reason for this.
Why is the release date of the film being postponed?
Speaking to PTI, Mukesh said, ‘The release date of Awarapan 2 has been shifted to May or June because Emraan Hashmi got injured during the shoot and also had to undergo surgery. Due to this, if he could not shoot for 45 days, all the action sequences would be shot later.
Don’t be afraid of Dhurandhar-Toxic
Mukesh further says, ‘I am not scared of Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic 2.’ He further informed that Malaysia has 20 days of shooting left.
