‘Sanaki’ closed due to Ahaan? Sunil Shetty called the allegations against his son wrong; Said- This is unfair to him

Ahan Shetty is in the news these days for his recently released film ‘Border 2’. The film is performing well at the box office. Meanwhile, discussions about the closure of Ahan Shetty’s film ‘Sanki’ have once again arisen. Actually, the reason for the closure of this film was said to be the high expenditure on Ahan Shetty’s supporting staff. It was said in many reports that due to the high expenditure on Ahan Shetty’s support staff, the makers shelved the film ‘Sanaki’. Now Ahaan’s father and actor Sunil Shetty has reacted to these discussions. After the release of Ahaan’s debut film ‘Tadap’ in 2021, his next film ‘Sanki’ was suddenly stopped. Bollywood Hungama’s 2024 report claimed that the decision was taken following concerns raised over alleged expenses incurred due to Ahaan’s accompanying people. Now in a conversation with Leharen Retro, actor Sunil Shetty has reacted to these allegations. He also talked about the professionalism of his son Ahaan. Sunil Shetty said that Ahaan never kept the people accompanying him beyond limits. These are all rumours. These rumors have been spread for the convenience of the manufacturer. If the manufacturer says he can show the bill, I will take a look. In such a situation the father has to intervene and I will clearly intervene. Don’t spread lies to hide your weaknesses, as it is unfair to Ahaan.

Ahaan himself bears the expenses of his staff

Sunil Shetty further said that Ahaan is very cautious about the people who come with him. If they come with them, they bear their expenses. He is fully aware of this. When Sunil Shetty brings food and water from home, my staff has been told that if you are eating the food of the unit, then it is fine, but if you want to order food from outside, then get the bill made in my name and not in the name of the manufacturer. My staff cannot dare to do this, so Ahaan’s staff will definitely not do this. Ahaan has just entered the industry. This is his time to settle down in the industry, so there will be no tantrums. This is impossible.

These reasons were also mentioned in many reports

Several media reports said that Sajid Nadiadwala had initially pushed ‘Sanki’ and had also signed a big digital deal with Prime Video. However, despite all this, the project was stopped due to low earnings from satellite and digital rights. Along with this, the alleged excessive expenditure of Ahaan’s support staff also became the reason for this. But now Sunil Shetty has termed Ahaan’s support staff expenses as false.

Makers and actor Manoj Bajpayee clarified on the controversy, said – we respect people’s sentiments

Ahaan seen in ‘Border 2’ after four years

Ahan Shetty made his Bollywood debut in the year 2021 with the action-romantic film ‘Tadap’. However, after this he remained away from the big screen for more than four years. Now ‘Border 2’, released earlier this year, is Ahan’s second film. He played the role of a Navy officer in the film. The film has received good response from the audience and critics. Ahaan’s work has also been liked.
