Crime branch reveals in Rohit Shetty firing case, accused used to work for Bishnoi gang by posing as a mechanic.

Mumbai Crime Branch has now made big revelations in the shooting incident at the house of famous Bollywood producer-director Rohit Shetty. In this case, the Crime Branch has made it clear that Rohit Shetty was the target of the shooters. Also, the Crime Branch has clarified the connection between the accused arms supplier and the Bishnoi gang. It has also been revealed how the supplier had sent the weapons with which firing was later done at Rohit Shetty’s house.

This thing came to light in the investigation

While investigating the case, Mumbai Crime Branch said that arms supplier Asaram Fasale, accused in the firing incident at Rohit Shetty’s house, was working as a garage mechanic for the Bishnoi gang for the last four years. He had joined this gang under the influence of Shubham Lonkar, the alleged mastermind of Baba Siddiqui murder case and Rohit Shetty firing case. The Crime Branch claims that Asaram Fasale had handed over weapons to Swapnil Sakat on the instructions of Shubham Lonkar. These were later used by an unknown shooter in the firing at Rohit Shetty’s house.

Where were the weapons taken from, police is investigating

In the case, the police had arrested the accused Asaram Fasale on 5 February. Of the four accused already arrested, Asaram Fasale had direct identification with Swapnil Sakat, which was done through Shubham Lonkar. The Crime Branch has also received information that some people close to Asaram were aware of his association with the gang. However, who are those people and whether they have any direct connection with the Lawrence Gang, the police is now investigating from this angle. The police is also investigating from where Asaram had obtained the weapons for this incident and how much money did he get in return?

When did the attack happen?

On January 31, at around 12:45 am, there was a firing incident outside the house of film director Rohit Shetty located in Mumbai’s Juhu area. According to the police, at least five rounds were fired during this time, one of which hit the glass of the gym in the building. Later, India Today shared a screenshot in its report and claimed that the Lawrence Gang has taken responsibility for this attack. This screenshot is from an account named Shubham Lonkar Arzoo Bishnoi. It is from a Facebook post. In the post, taking responsibility for the attack, it was threatened that this is just a trailer. If it doesn’t improve then the next bullet will be fired inside the house in his bedroom, on his chest.
