PM Viktor Orban is only expanding his stomach, not his army

Moscow. The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine has completed three years. Zelensky has been continuously warning European countries against Russia to increase their military capabilities. Now he attacked Hungarian PM Viktor Orban for ignoring the warning. Zelensky said that Viktor is giving more priority to domestic politics instead of focusing on regional security. He is only expanding his stomach, not his army. This statement of Zelensky has come at a time when Hungary has expressed reluctance to help Ukraine.
According to media reports, the war between Ukraine and Russia that has been going on for three years has increased discord within the European Union countries as well. Most countries support giving relief package to Ukraine and ban on Moscow against Russia, but Hungary repeatedly ignores these measures for one reason or the other. Hungary also constantly warns not to escalate this war. Actually, Victor Orban is considered close to Putin, due to which he has to face criticism from many European countries including Kiev.
According to the report, Hungarian PM Viktor Orban has from the beginning opposed the additional funding being given to Ukraine by European countries. Not only this, he also directly opposed the supply of arms. Orban had refused to transfer Hungarian weapons to Ukraine, saying that Budapest had to give more priority to its economic stability and energy security. Apart from this, he also raised questions on the Ukrainian government regarding the mistreatment of people of Hungarian origin living in Western Ukraine.
Let us tell you that the war between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for the last three years. Many countries including America have tried to end it. Several lakh soldiers from both the countries have lost their lives. Ukraine, which was insisting on membership of NATO before the war, has now also moved away from it. US President Trump has clearly said that Ukraine will not get NATO membership. Currently the dispute between Russia and Ukraine is over land. Russia is not ready to give up the land captured in the war, hence the war continues.
