Adani’s big bet in defense sector, Rs 1.8 lakh crore will be spent on AI drone-missile

Asia’s second richest businessman Gautam Adani is continuously expanding his business. Also trying their hand in different sectors. Now his next target is going to be defense sector. For this, Adani Group is planning to invest Rs 1.8 lakh crore in defense manufacturing next year. Sources said that under this, the focus will be on strengthening capabilities in unmanned systems and advanced weapons. Let us tell you that Adani Defense and Aerospace moved from long planning processes to rapid deployment in 2025 and some of its military equipment was also used in Operation Vermillion.

What are Autonomous Systems?

Desire for 25 percent market share

By 2026, Adani plans to expand its drones to increase its precision strike capability in all three domains, air, water and land. The number of service and training centers will be increased and AI-based systems will improve operations in many areas. According to reports, these initiatives will strengthen the defense sector and create employment opportunities. The company aims to achieve 25% share in India’s private defense market.
