Bollywood’s multi-talented star Piyush Mishra has recently talked openly about the most difficult phase of his life. The actor has talked about his battle with alcohol addiction and the damage caused by it. How he has written these experiences in his autobiography Tumhari Aukaat Kya Hai, he has shared all this very honestly.

Piyush Mishra told that he struggled with alcohol addiction for almost two decades. This problem affected him in the 1980s and he could not get rid of it for many years. The actor admitted that alcohol has harmed his creativity and today he considers it as his biggest regret. He said that if he had controlled alcohol in the beginning itself, perhaps his life and career would have been at greater heights today.

While talking to the media outlet, he also admitted that alcohol was not just a habit, but it also affected his thinking and ability to work. Piyush said that addiction kills creativity and this was the biggest mistake of his life. Piyush Mishra also shared how he openly talked to his wife about his misbehavior. He said that it was not difficult for him to tell this truth, but it gave him peace from within.

Piyush Mishra told that when he shared all the things with his wife, his wife understood his point and said that being partners, both of them have made mistakes, but now they should move forward. He said that after telling the truth he felt liberated and now decided to move forward in life. The belief that telling the truth removed the guilt from him proved to be a big turning point for him and brought about a lot of changes in his life.

Piyush Mishra has included very personal aspects of his life in his autobiography Tumhari Aukaat Kya Hai. In this, he has written about his experiences from childhood till growing up, alcohol addiction, love relationships and difficulties without any hesitation. He said that he did not want to hide the true truth of his life and that is why he included everything honestly in the book. He also told that he has changed the names of all the people in his life in the book, so that no one’s identity is hurt.
