Arshad Warsi got confused after getting a role like Akshay, the story of the film ‘Hulchal’ came out

Famous Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi has worked in many amazing films. People like his comic timing a lot, that is why people like his characters in films. However, as fun as the characters of the film seem to the audience, Arshad has talked about what it is actually like during the shooting. The actor recently spoke openly about an experience in his career, which he considers to be a bad experience till now.

The film ‘Hulchal’ released in the year 2004 was amazing for the audience, the story and cast of the film were tremendous. Arshad Warsi was also involved in this film. The actor is generally known for his amazing comic timing and memorable characters, but ‘Hulchal’ did not bring much happiness for him. Arshad told in an interview that when he got the offer to work in this film, he was told that his character would be like Akshay Kumar in Hera Pheri.

How did I get the offer of ‘Hulchal’?

Arshad told that casting director Neeraj Vohra Sahab had given him an offer and said that it is Priyadarshan’s film. On hearing the name of the director, Arshad asked about his role. Arshad said, wow, it’s done, what am I doing in this? Neeraj said, have you seen the manipulation? Akshay Kumar’s role in it is the same role. The actor said, “I thought, that’s it, this is a great role, that’s why he agreed to this project without thinking.”

The truth came out in the shooting

But as soon as Arshad reached the set, he came to know the true nature of things. He told that the role that was explained to him was not the same in reality. He told that the difference in the film was that both of you are friends in this film and you are friends in this film, both things were different and his character was not as important as was told earlier. Apart from this, the actor also had a lot of complaints about the costume given to him. He told that he was given a long shirt, which had long sleeves.

fulfilled my commitment

Despite this, he kept his commitment and completed the film, although he was not happy with his experience and described it as a bad experience. Arshad also clearly said that it was not the fault of the film’s director Priyadarshan, because he did not know about it. ‘Hulchal’ was a romantic comedy directed by Priyadarshan and starring many well-known actors including Akshay Khanna, Kareena Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Arbaaz Khan. This film was the Hindi remake of the 1991 Malayalam film ‘Godfather’.
