The date of presentation of the general budget for the financial year 2026-27 is now near. On Sunday, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the general budget for the ninth consecutive time. The central government is working towards the goal of a developed India by the year 2047, in view of which big announcements can be made regarding the manufacturing sector in the upcoming budget. It is believed that the government will make big announcements regarding developing industrial corridors in the country. Recently the Prime Minister has also indicated that now the government’s aim will be to increase the share of the manufacturing sector in the economic development of the country.

From this it can be understood that this time big announcements can be made regarding the industrial sector in the general budget. More financial arrangements can be made for the rapid development of industrial areas. Along with this, important decisions related to improvement in ease of doing business can also be taken. In the last few years, the government has simplified the process related to registration of new industries, certificates and certificates for products, but even then there are many such provisions due to which entrepreneurs face problems. In such a situation, the government can announce the removal of non-essential provisions on the advice of the industrial sector.

Industrial organizations believe that in the last few years, the expressway, railway and air networks within the country have expanded rapidly and work has to be done at a faster pace in the future also. At present, work is going on on the development of 12 industrial smart cities in 6 major industrial corridors in 10 states, but the government is trying to speed up industrial development so that the share of manufacturing sector in the country’s GDP increases to 25 percent.
