Dubai-based international airline Emirates announced on Saturday that all its flights to and from Dubai have been suspended until further notice. The airline has appealed to passengers not to travel to the airport until official information is given on the resumption of operations.

The airline said in a statement released on social media platform X that further updates will be shared as the situation normalizes and more information becomes available. The company clarified that the safety of passengers and crew members is its top priority and there will be no compromise in this matter. The airline also thanked passengers for their patience and cooperation during this inconvenience.
What options for passengers?
- Emirates said that passengers with bookings between February 28 and March 31 will be given flexible travel options.
- Such passengers can re-book their journey on an alternative flight till April 30 without any extra charges.
- Passengers who have booked tickets through travel agents have been advised to contact their agents.
- Passengers booking tickets directly with the airline can seek assistance through Emirates’ support channels.
- If passengers wish, they can also choose to get the ticket amount back by filling the refund form.
All check-in counters of the airline are currently temporarily closed.
The airline also informed that all its city check-in counters in Dubai have been temporarily closed for the time being. Passengers have been asked to keep the contact details updated in their booking profile, so that they can get the latest information related to operations from time to time. Emirates said it would continue to share further information through its official channels as the situation develops.
