Washington. After terrorizing the Venezuelan capital Caracas, the US Army has taken away its President Nicolas Maduro and his wife. America’s Special Delta Force carried out the action in such a way that no one in Venezuela got a chance to understand anything. On one hand, American Delta Force fighter jets suddenly attacked several military bases in Venezuela and on the other hand, they secretly captured Maduro and his wife. This is the same Delta Force, which had killed Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi, the leader of the world’s dreaded terrorist organization Islamic State. Even today, Delta Force is considered one of the most mysterious and dangerous special units in the world. Most of this information is not even made public. Delta Force is the most secret and high-level special mission unit of the US Armed Forces. It has also been referred to at various times as Combat Applications Group (CAG), Task Force Green, Army Compartmented Elements (ACE), and simply ‘the unit’. Its true identity and existence have never been formally acknowledged by the US government; whatever information is public is based on statements from former members.
The real focus of Delta Force is anti-terrorist operations, which include capturing or eliminating high-value targets and disrupting terrorist networks. However, this unit is not limited to counter-terrorism only. It is deployed in a variety of missions such as raids, sabotage, hostage rescue, special surveillance and intelligence operations. The unit operates under the operational control of the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), while its administration is handled by the US Army Special Operations Command. Its headquarters is at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
