If you plan to buy wedding jewelery today, then first know the latest price of gold, otherwise there will be loss.

New Delhi: Due to the ongoing turmoil at the international level, the prices of gold and silver are changing rapidly every day. Today the prices of gold and silver have made a new record in the country. The price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold has reached ₹ 1,60,260, while the price of silver has been recorded at ₹ 3,35,000 per kg.

Such a rapid increase in the prices of gold and silver has come at a time when the season of weddings and festivals is about to begin in the country. In such a situation, this information has become very important for everyone, from common customers to big investors.

Impact on the market due to rise in prices

The direct effect of increasing prices of gold and silver is being seen on the bullion market. According to jewellers, there has been a decline in the number of customers in the last few days. Many people are now planning to postpone the purchase of jewelery or buy it in limited quantities. Especially for the middle class, this increase is becoming heavy on the pockets.

Market experts say that the demand for gold is continuously increasing at the international level. Along with this, the weakness of rupee against the dollar has also pushed the prices further higher. Global uncertainty, geopolitical tension and increasing demand for gold as a safe investment are considered to be the main reasons for this.

Gold and silver rates in big cities

Gold prices have remained almost at the same level in the major metros of the country. 24 carat gold is being sold at ₹ 16,041 per gram in Delhi, ₹ 16,026 per gram in Mumbai and Kolkata. Whereas the price of 22 carat gold is between ₹ 14,690 to ₹ 14,705 per gram. 18 carat gold has been recorded from ₹ 12,019 to ₹ 12,034 per gram.

Along with gold, there has also been a huge rise in the prices of silver. In cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Ahmedabad, silver is being sold at ₹ 3,35,000 per kg, while in Chennai, Hyderabad and Kerala its price has reached ₹ 3,65,000 per kg. Industrial demand and increasing interest of investors are considered to be the important reasons behind this.
