Mrunal Thakur’s ‘Dacait’, teaser release date revealed

Actress Mrinal Thakur, who has traveled from TV to the big screen, is in the news these days for her upcoming film ‘Dacait’. Actor Adivi Shesh will be seen with her in this film. If media reports are to be believed, the Hindi logo and teaser of Adivi Shesh and Mrunal Thakur’s romantic action thriller ‘Dacait’ is ready to be launched in Mumbai. Makers are holding launch events in two cities.

Cinematographer Shenil Dev is debuting as a director with ‘Dacait’. This film will be released next year. Some time ago the first look of ‘Dacait’ was released. Along with Mrinal and Adivi Shesh, Anurag Kashyap was also seen as an important cast in the teaser. The audience is going to see a dash of romance along with action in the film.

Teaser will be released on 18th December

Both Hindi and Telugu teasers of this Mrunal Thakur starrer film will be launched on December 18 in different cities. The Hindi teaser of the film will be launched in Mumbai. The Telugu version will be launched in Hyderabad on the same day. Adivi Shesh has worked on the script of this film with Shenil Dev.

Shruti Hassan was the first actress

Earlier, Shruti Haasan was to be seen in the lead role with Adivi Shesh in the film ‘Dacait’, but later she backed out of the film. After that, Mrinal Thakur will now be seen in the lead role in the film. Many actors like Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni, Sunil, Jain Marie Khan and Kamakshi Bhaskarla also play important roles in the film.

When will Dacoit be released?

‘Dacait’ is scheduled to be released in theaters on March 19, 2026, which will clash with other big films like Yash’s ‘Toxic’ and Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’. Because both these films are also scheduled to release on March 19. That means there will be a clash at the box office. But with its interesting story, great star cast and now the upcoming teaser launch, all eyes are on this film. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the action-packed sequences and a glimpse of the chemistry between Adivi Shesh and Mrunal Thakur.

What will be special in the film?

Apart from Adivi Shesh and Mrunal Thakur, the film also stars veteran actor Prakash Raj, who adds his signature intensity, and has a talented supporting cast that includes filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, Atul Kulkarni, Sunil, Jain Marie Khan and Kamakshi Bhaskarla. With the launch taking place on the same day in Mumbai and Hyderabad, the audience will know for the first time what is special in the film.
