Moeed argued that for such a big wedding, a high-profile political union between the families of Nawaz Sharif and Sheikh Rohail Asghar, the fashion should have been memorable rather than repetitive. Noting that Shanzeh had already worn an Indian designer for her mehendi, she questioned the lack of local representation on the wedding day. Moeed also criticized the similarity in appearance of Shanzeh at the wedding function, saying that there was no difference between her mehendi and wedding function looks.
