Meanwhile, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi was warmly welcomed by the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC) at the Berlin airport during his five-day visit to Germany. He is scheduled to attend an important IOC event today, where he will meet IOC leaders from across Europe. On his arrival, the IOC teams welcomed him with floral tributes and everyone had smiles on their faces.
The IOC says Rahul Gandhi has come to address the Indian diaspora and meet various party presidents in Europe. They are going to discuss issues related to NRIs and ways to further spread the ideology of the party. Indian Overseas Congress said that we are proud to welcome Rahul Gandhi, who is scheduled to interact with the Indian diaspora in Berlin on 17 December. The event will bring together all the Presidents of the Indian Overseas Congress from across Europe and provide a unique platform to discuss key issues with Rahul Gandhi, especially on strengthening the party, the concerns of the NRIs and how the IOC can play an important role in connecting more people to the party.
