The doors of dairy and poultry were not opened, Agriculture Minister Chauhan said on India-US trade agreement.

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan made an important point regarding the interests of farmers in the US trade agreement. In a video message on social media platform X, he said that PM Modi has always been farmer friendly. Chauhan further said that every decision of the Prime Minister has been taken in the interest of the farmers. His schemes have changed the lives of farmers. And in the agreement that has been signed with America, the farmers’ interest is completely protected.

What about farmers producing different staple foods?

The Agriculture Minister emphasized that this agreement specifically meets the needs of farmers producing various staple foods. Chauhan said that the interests of our grain producing farmers producing wheat, rice, maize, soya and coarse grains have been fully taken care of. The interests of farmers of our major fruit and vegetable products have also been fully protected in this agreement. Chauhan made it clear that the government has maintained strict limits for some sensitive areas. He said that the country’s doors have not been opened for poultry and dairy products. The truth is that our spice product farmers will get a huge new market. The Minister highlighted the possibilities of market expansion for various Indian products under the new agreement. He said that exports will increase as many commodities including tea, coffee, cheese get new markets. This will benefit the farmers and their income will increase. Our cotton producing farmers are going to benefit greatly from textile export. Every decision of PM Modi is in the interest of farmers. Targeting Rahul Gandhi, he also targeted Rahul Gandhi and said that he is a liar and has nothing to do with the farmers of the country. He never likes the strength of farmers, that is why he is seen talking anti-national things. Just now he broke all the records of lying in a video. They are trying to spread confusion in the country by telling lies. He said that the interests of farmers are not decided by lying. Farmers will be benefited by the true and farmer-friendly decisions which PM Modi has always taken. In fact, on February 12, Rahul Gandhi shared a video on his X platform and alleged that the India-US trade deal will harm farmers.
