Equity, equity derivatives, currency derivatives and interest rate derivatives segments will also not see any movement. The commodity market will also remain closed on Monday, January 26. Multi Commodity Exchange will remain closed in the morning and evening on 26 January. This means that there will be no trading in metal, energy or agricultural commodities on Monday. After the holiday, business will be seen in the market once again on 27th January.

There will be a total of 15 days in 2016 when there will be a holiday in the stock markets. Which includes different festivals. After January 26, the next official holiday in the stock market will be on March 3 on Holi. That means there will be no holidays in the month of February.

There will be a total of three days holiday in the stock market in the month of March.

The next holiday after Holi will be Ram Navami. This time the festival of Ram Navami is on 26 March. There will be no trading in the stock market on 31st March itself due to Mahavir Jayanti. That means there will be three days holiday in the month of March.

After this the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is on 14th September. There will be a holiday in the stock markets on this day also. There will be no work in the stock market due to Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October, Dussehra on 20 October, Diwali on 10 November and Guru Nanak Jayanti on 24 November. The last holiday of this year will be on 25th December. There will be no trading in the stock markets due to Christmas.
