In a recent interview, Mrinal Thakur said, ‘I had seen the work of director Ravi Udayavar in his film Mom. Since then I wanted to work with him. I told him I want to work with him. Immediately after this I asked, when are we doing the next film sir? I have been quite outspoken since the beginning of my career. I believe that the position I am in today is only because of my courage. Further in his interview given to News 18, Mrinal said, ‘This is not the first time that I myself have been impressed by the work of a director and have asked to work with him, before this I had also talked to Dhurandhar director Aditya Dhar for the film.
