Sunny Deol will take 50 crores for Border 2! Only this much money was received in the first part

Sunny Deol is soon going to enter as ‘Fauji’. A glimpse of which was also seen on Vijay Diwas. Everyone is liking the 2-minute teaser of the film. Especially when it comes to his dialogues, everything else seems completely watered down. After 27 years, Sunny Deol is returning to fulfill his promise of ‘Border’. The only difference this time is his character. In the first Border, Sunny Paaji played the role of Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri. At the same time, this time the name of the character is Fateh Singh Kaler. How much money did the actor, who was charging Rs 50 crore for this film, get for 1997’s ‘Border’? However, there is a big difference between the two films.

Sunny Deol’s first ‘Border’ was released in the year 1997. Which was based on the Longewala War fought during the India-Pakistan war of 1971. There were three other actors along with Sunny Deol playing the role of Major Kuldeep Singh Chandpuri in the film. Which includes- Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna and Sunil Shetty. However, that film, made with a budget of Rs 10 crore, did a business of Rs 65.57 crore from the worldwide box office. Now know how much fee Sunny Deol got for the film then.

Sunny Deol’s fees for the first ‘Border’

Sunny Deol’s BORDER is a cult classic, which was released in the year 1997. Also, it is shown repeatedly on TV on the occasion of 26th January and 15th August. That picture was directed by JP Dutta. In which Sunny Deol, Jackie Shroff, Akshaye Khanna and Sunil Shetty fought. At the same time, Tabu, Pooja Bhatt and Rakhi Gulzar were also seen working. According to reports, Sunny Deol got a fee of Rs 1.2 crore for that picture. Whereas, Jackie Shroff was given Rs 11 lakh. Even Tabu got an amount of Rs 20 lakh. Akshay Khanna was also a part of the film, who received a fee of Rs 1.4 million. Border was Akshay Khanna’s second film, in which his acting was greatly appreciated.
Pooja Bhatt, who was a part of the film, got a fee of Rs 1 lakh. Whereas, Sunil Shetty’s fee was Rs 6 lakh and Puneet Issar’s fee was Rs 10 lakh. Also, a check of Rs 4 lakh was handed over to Sudesh Beri and a check of Rs 6 lakh was handed over to Kulbhushan Kharbanda. At the same time, Rakhi Gulzar got Rs 70 thousand. Whereas, the budget of the film was Rs 10 crore. But if we look at the fees of Sunny Deol and other actors, he was also the highest paid actor of 1997 Border. This time too he is the most expensive actor, getting a fee of Rs 50 crore.
