Violence in Bangladesh is not stopping at any cost, the extent is that student leader Sharif Usman Hadi was laid to rest on Saturday in the campus of Dhaka University and a 24-hour ultimatum has been given to the current government. A large crowd of people was present around the university during Hadi’s funeral. The special thing was that the chief advisor of the interim government, Mohammad Yunus, also attended Hadi’s funeral and also praised him.
While bidding last farewell to Hadi, Mohammad Yunus said that thousands of people have gathered here today. Not only here, but across the country and also among the expatriate community settled abroad, people are eagerly waiting to hear about Hadi. While praising him he said, Hardil Aziz Usman Hadi, we have not come here to say goodbye to you, you live in our hearts. As long as Bangladesh exists, you will remain a part of this nation. Yunus further said, Osman Hadi taught us how to reach out to people with humility. How to express your views and opinions without hurting anyone and how to conduct election campaigns with dignity. We resolve to assimilate this learning and put it into practice. He said that we want to take the politics and culture of our country to a point where Hadi’s example always remains alive. In the end he said, we will not bow down before anyone, we will keep our heads held high in front of the world. We will fulfill this promise you made to the public under any circumstances.
Abdullah Al Jaber gave ultimatum
Abdullah Al Jaber, associated with Inquilab Manch, who is said to be an ally of Osman Hadi, has given an ultimatum to Yunus’s interim government. According to this, the government will have to publicly reveal in the next 24 hours who are the real killers of Hadi and what steps have been taken to arrest them. After this ultimatum, it is understood that the problems of the government in Bangladesh are going to increase further, because somewhere or the other the government has also been accused of murder.
