Big explosion in the stock market! IPO worth Rs 1.2 lakh crore will come in 2026

If you think that the enthusiasm for IPO will cool down now, then 2026 may surprise you. Stock market data is showing that the coming year could be even bigger for IPO investors. After raising record-breaking funds in 2025, the line of companies for 2026 seems to be getting longer.

The year 2025 was very special for the IPO market. This year, more than 100 companies entered the stock market and raised about Rs 1.76 lakh crore. This amount was more than last year and it became clear that both companies and investors have confidence in the market. This strong environment has prepared the way for 2026.

The IPO pipeline of 2026 is tremendous

According to statistics, more than 200 companies are preparing to launch IPO in 2026. Many of these have received approval from the market regulator, while many companies are waiting for the final approval. If all these plans are implemented, then an amount of Rs 1.2 lakh crore or more can be raised from the market through IPO in 2026.

Tech companies will also show strength

New tech companies are also going to have a good presence in the IPO calendar of 2026. Many companies with tech and digital business models are preparing to enter the stock market. Apart from this, dozens of other tech companies are preparing their documents, due to which the pace of IPO may increase further in the future.

Change in investors’ trends

Although the number and size of IPOs is large, the behavior of investors seems to have changed slightly in 2025. The number of IPOs with huge oversubscription has decreased compared to earlier. Nevertheless, most of the issues received a good response, which clearly shows that investors are now investing their money more wisely and selectively.

Retail investors are now more cautious

A slight decline has also been seen in the participation of retail investors. Where earlier every IPO used to see a huge crowd, now investors are deciding after looking at the company’s quality, valuation and business model. Despite this, retail investors applied for a large amount overall, indicating their strong presence.

Why 2026 could be a big opportunity

One thing clearly emerges from all these figures that there will be many opportunities for IPO in 2026, but only those investors will earn money who choose the right company. If the market remains stable and companies come at the right valuation, then IPO investment can provide a good earning opportunity.
