From Rejection to Resilience: How Bade Jeevan Built JS Group from Scratch

Bade Jeevan’s journey from repeated career rejections to building the successful JS Group is a powerful story of resilience and integrity. Despite academic excellence and an IT background, he faced corporate setbacks and financial limitations. Refusing shortcuts, he turned challenges into opportunities and founded JS Vacations, which later expanded into software, construction, and eco-friendly housing ventures. Today, JS Group provides employment to hundreds across India. This inspiring success story highlights entrepreneurship without capital, ethical leadership, and perseverance, making Bade Jeevan a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs across the country.

Born to Bade Prabhakar, Secretary of the National Union of Journalists, India (New Delhi), Jeevan grew up in an environment shaped by public service, discipline, and responsibility. His father envisioned him as an IAS officer and exposed him early to senior officials to build confidence and ambition. Equally pivotal was his mother, who remained his strongest pillar of support, guiding and motivating him throughout his academic life.

A consistent topper from school to MBA, Jeevan completed his B.Tech in Information Technology and even secured a placement with IBM. However, driven by a larger dream, he chose to pursue Civil Services instead. Despite multiple sincere attempts, success eluded him. What followed was a difficult phase—corporate rejections citing him as “over-qualified” and a growing career gap that closed more doors than it opened. Refusing to fabricate experience, he chose integrity over shortcuts and worked briefly as a faculty member to sustain himself.

With no financial backing to start a business, Jeevan faced skepticism from many who believed entrepreneurship without capital was impossible. Yet, taking a calculated risk, he resigned from teaching, purchased a single car, and began with car travel services. The response was encouraging, but destiny had bigger plans.

A family trip to Mysore became the turning point. A hotel booked through a reputed app resulted in harassment, double payments, power failures, and complete neglect—without any grievance support. That experience sparked a question that would change his life: If this can happen to me, what about ordinary families?

From this realization was born JS Vacations – All India & International Tours, built on trust, transparency, and treating customers like family. Starting with limited resources, the company has now been operating successfully for over seven years, completing thousands of tours across India and abroad with exceptional customer satisfaction. Today, JS Vacations offers customized domestic and international tours, hotels ranging from two-star to five-star, flights, vehicles, sightseeing, professional guides, and safe travel experiences—especially for women, elders, and children. With its headquarters in Vijayawada and branches in Hyderabad, Kerala, Hubli, Kashmir, and Delhi, the company handles group tours, corporate tours, honeymoon packages, excursions, and industrial tours.

The success of JS Vacations paved the way for expansion. Leveraging his IT expertise, Jeevan founded JS Software Solutions (MS Infratech Services Pvt. Ltd.), transforming from a job seeker into a job creator. Along with his sister, an M.Tech in Civil Engineering, he launched JS Constructions & Interiors, generating employment for many in the unorganised sector. His commitment to sustainability led to JS Elite Homes, focusing on eco-friendly container homes and shops powered by solar energy.

Today, JS Group provides direct employment to over 100 people and indirect employment to more than 300, standing as a powerful example of ethical, self-made growth. Beyond business, Jeevan actively supports the underprivileged through food, clothing, and books, with plans to establish a dedicated charitable foundation.

Grateful to his clients, family, supporters, and even early critics, Bade Jeevan believes every rejection played a role in shaping his journey. From being told his career was over to building a trusted multi-vertical enterprise, his story proves that rejection is not the end—it is often the beginning of something far greater.
