Arun Govil recently gave his interview to PTI. During this, he made it clear that when an image settles deeply in people’s memories, then comparisons are natural. Arun Govil said, ‘When there is a standard set, comparison always happens, and no one should feel bad that I am being compared. I believe that to play a God, you have to look like that. Look is very important. When people look at you, they see God in you, and they think, ‘God can be like this’.’
Who will be in the role again?
Along with Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, the cast includes Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman. Let us tell you that ever since the first look of Ramayana has been revealed, this film is being compared with Ramanand Sagar’s 1987 TV show Ramayana, in which Govil played the role of Lord Rama.
