Deepika’s cryptic post amid reports of rejecting ‘The White Lotus’, wrote- ‘Useless reactions have to be forgotten’

Deepika Padukone is in the news these days for rejecting a Hollywood project. Actually, recently there were reports that Deepika can be seen in the fourth season of Hollywood’s popular black comedy series ‘The White Lotus’. But now it is being said in media reports that the actress has refused to work in it. Amidst such news, Deepika has shared a cryptic post on Instagram Story.

Why did Deepika reject the offer?

Deepika Padukone has already refused Indian films ‘Kalki 2’ and ‘Spirit’ due to some reasons. Now he has also distanced himself from Hollywood series. According to the report of Variety India, Deepika refused to work in ‘The White Lotus’ series because she did not want to audition for her character. At the same time, the makers of the series wanted to take auditions.

‘It is difficult to remain silent’

Amidst all such news, Deepika Padukone has shared a post on her Instagram story. The gist of it is that when people are making noise, talking about you, it is difficult to choose to remain silent and this is the real power. Deepika’s post reads, ‘Staying calm is the biggest flex. Anyone can lose their temper, react instantly. Can talk loudly and make noise. This requires zero strength. Real strength is seen when there is chaos and you do not bow down. When drama tries to pull you in and you stay grounded. When life troubles you again and again and you still choose control. This requires courage. One has to forget the useless reactions and sit with the restlessness. Emotions should not be allowed to dominate.

‘Staying calm is a superpower’

It is further written, ‘Staying calm is not a weakness, it is a mastery. It’s knowing that you don’t have to prove anything, explain everything, or react to everyone. While others spend energy panicking, you move forward quietly, clearly and deliberately. In a world addicted to noise, being quiet is a tremendous superpower’. According to reports, Deepika turned down this big project due to her decision not to audition. It has also been said that this is not the first time that Deepika has received an offer for this series. Earlier, he had also received an offer during the third season. But then due to pregnancy she refused to work in it.
