Bihar Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari Inaugurates ‘Chhaya Bihar Annual Convocation 2026’; A Landmark Achievement in Art, Culture and Education
Patna, November 1, 2026: Chandigarh Chhaya School of Art marked a historic milestone with the grand success of the Chhaya Bihar Annual Convocation 2026, held at the iconic Bapu Tower in Patna. The event brought together distinguished dignitaries, eminent academicians, cultural personalities, centre holders, teachers and students from across Bihar in a magnificent celebration of art, culture and educational excellence.
The programme was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Education Minister of Bihar, Shri Mithilesh Tiwari, whose presence added immense prestige to the occasion. The event was also graced by distinguished guests, including Shrimati Vandana Singh, Deputy Secretary, Department of Art and Culture, Government of Bihar, eminent representatives from Patna University and Patliputra University, and other prominent personalities from the state.
One of the major highlights of the convocation was the felicitation of BPSC-selected teachers with the prestigious ‘Bihar Shiksha Ratna Samman 2026’, recognizing their remarkable achievements in the field of education. Centre holders from different parts of Bihar were also honoured for their dedicated contribution to the promotion of art, culture and education.
The event further celebrated young artistic talent through the ‘Bihar Kala Gaurav Samman 2026’ competition. Outstanding students from Bihar were felicitated on the grand stage, encouraging them to pursue their artistic dreams and contribute to the rich cultural heritage of the state.
