Chengalpattu. Thalapathy Vijay’s wife Sangeetha Sornalingam has filed for divorce in the Chengalpattu Family Court on February 27, 2026. This application is the first formal legal step towards the separation of the couple. Vijay, who is not only a well-known Tamil actor but is also the founder of Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam. Superstar Vijay has not yet issued any official statement on this matter. Further action in the case is awaited as the court is hearing the application. The couple has decided to separate from each other after 27 years of marriage.
