
Big action has now taken place in the firing case at the Juhu house of film producer-director Rohit Shetty. Six other accused have been arrested in this. According to Mumbai Police Crime Branch, the accused were caught in Rajasthan and are being brought to Mumbai. A total of 11 people have been arrested so far in this case.
IMPA wrote a letter to CM Fadnavis expressing concern over the matter
Mumbai Crime Branch is continuously investigating this case on the basis of CCTV camera footage. Recently, the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPA) had written a letter to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis regarding this incident. It appealed to the state government to intervene to ensure immediate investigation and appropriate security measures. In its letter, IMPA described the incident as extremely worrying and said that it has created concern and apprehension in the film industry. The letter further said for Rohit Shetty that Rohit Shetty has not only made an invaluable contribution to Indian cinema, but he has always supported the country in times of need. He has extended his support to social causes and national initiatives in the interest of the society. Therefore, the occurrence of such an incident at his residence is extremely worrying.
