Rajpal Yadav gets bail: Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has finally got bail. Rajpal Yadav will be released from Tihar Jail after 8 days. On the request of Delhi High Court, Rajpal Yadav’s lawyer has deposited around Rs 1.5 crore for interim bail. This money has been deposited to Murali Projects Private Limited through demand draft.
Had applied to attend niece’s wedding
The actor had applied to the High Court to attend his niece’s wedding. Rajpal Yadav had told that his niece’s wedding was on 19th February and he wanted to attend her niece’s wedding. On the actor’s bail plea, the court had said that if a demand draft of Rs 1.5 crore is deposited by today i.e. 16th February, then he will get bail. If the money is not deposited by 3 pm on 16 February, the decision in the case will be announced on 17 February.
Got bail as soon as the hearing started at 3 o’clock
The hearing started at 2 pm in the High Court on 16 February. As soon as the hearing started, Rajpal’s lawyer appeared in the court. During this, the lawyer said that he is ready to deposit a demand draft of Rs 1.5 crore unconditionally. After this, when the court recorded that a total draft of Rs 1.5 crore had been deposited. After this, actor Rajpal Yadav was granted bail as soon as the hearing started again at 3 pm.
Hearing regarding bail was held on 12 February
Before this, a hearing was held on February 12 in the Delhi High Court regarding the bail plea of actor Rajpal Yadav. During this time, after listening to all the arguments, the High Court had reprimanded the actor. The court had said that you have already taken so much time in returning the money. You had to surrender because the money was not returned. So why is this being debated now? After which the court had given the next date of hearing on Monday i.e. 16th February.
