Big change in the rates of petrol and diesel in metros? New list released on the morning of 14th December, check immediately

New Delhi: Every day at 6 am, the country’s oil marketing companies update the prices of petrol and diesel. The same process was adopted on Sunday, 14 December 2025 and the latest rates were made public.

Fuel prices are decided in different cities on the basis of international market, tax and local VAT. For this reason, the prices of petrol and diesel appear different in every city.

Condition of Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata

Today in the national capital Delhi, petrol is being sold at Rs 94.77 and diesel at Rs 87.67 per liter. In Mumbai, petrol is stable at Rs 103.54 and diesel at Rs 90.03. In Kolkata, petrol remains at Rs 105.41 and diesel at Rs 92.02 per litre.

Chennai and Bengaluru rates

In Chennai, petrol has been recorded at Rs 101.23 and diesel at Rs 92.81 per litre. Whereas in Bengaluru there is no change in petrol at Rs 102.92 and diesel at Rs 90.99 per litre.

In Gurugram, petrol is available at Rs 95.65 and diesel at Rs 88.10 per litre. In Noida, petrol remains at Rs 94.74 and diesel at Rs 87.81 per liter.

Changes in Jaipur, Lucknow and Patna

In Jaipur, petrol is priced at Rs 104.62 and diesel at Rs 90.12 per litre, where a slight decline has been recorded. In Lucknow, petrol has reached Rs 94.69 and diesel has reached Rs 87.81. In Patna, petrol has been recorded at Rs 105.23 and diesel at Rs 91.49 per litre.

Prices in southern and eastern cities

In Hyderabad, petrol is Rs 107.46 and diesel is Rs 95.70 per liter. An increase of 13 paise has been seen in both petrol and diesel in Bhubaneswar. In Thiruvananthapuram, petrol is stable at Rs 107.48 and diesel at Rs 96.48 per liter.

Who decides the rates of petrol and diesel?

Petrol and diesel prices in India are decided keeping in mind the taxes of the central and state governments, international crude oil prices and other economic factors. Oil companies update rates daily based on these parameters.

  • Indian Oil customers can send SMS to 92249 92249 by typing dealer code RSP.
  • BPCL customers can send RSP dealer code to 92231 12222.
  • You will get the dealer code from the petrol pump or the company’s website.
