Earthquake hits Pakistan, scared people run away from home

Islamabad. Every day there are reports of earthquakes somewhere or the other. Now the Balochistan province of Pakistan has once again been shaken by earthquake tremors. This earthquake that occurred in Khuzdar district in the morning created great fear among the people. Although its intensity was measured only 3.3 on the Richter scale, its tremors were felt very strongly. According to the report of National Seismic Monitoring Center (NSMC), the intensity of this earthquake was 3.3. Its center was about 70 kilometers west of Khuzdar city. Whereas the depth was only 8 kilometers below the ground. Let us tell you that Balochistan is a very sensitive area from the geographical point of view because it is located at the active junction of the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates. Due to the continuous movement here, small and medium scale earthquakes keep occurring. As soon as the earthquake struck, there was chaos in Khuzdar and surrounding areas. People started running out of their homes and buildings towards open fields. Balochistan has faced devastating earthquakes before, so even a mild tremor scares people with nostalgia. At present, there has been no news of any major loss of life or property from the local administration or disaster management. Officials are keeping a close watch on the situation.
