
Caracas. Venezuela’s acting President Delsey Rodriguez has pledged to return Nicolas Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores, detained by the US military, to the country. Rodríguez said she would not rest for a minute until Maduro and Flores return to Venezuela. According to media reports, Rodriguez said at an event that there is no uncertainty about Venezuela’s leadership or governance program.
He said the Venezuelan people are in charge and there is a government, which is that of President Nicolas Maduro. He called for unity to guarantee peace, stability and the future of the country. Rodriguez said she was sworn in by Maduro a year ago at the beginning of his third term. Today, after one year, we are taking oath for their freedom. Rodriguez said national unity would be decisive in the effort to save Maduro. Meanwhile, Acting President Rodriguez confirmed that his government is continuing the seven action plans set by Maduro.

In this operation, the US Army had detained Venezuelan President Maduro along with his wife. This action of America was condemned worldwide and many countries also expressed their concerns. He described it as the result of direct American action. “I hope those prisoners remember how lucky they are that America came and did what needed to be done,” he said.
