Uproar over Diljit’s film shooting in Patiala, administration took control

Bollywood | Famous actor and singer Diljit Dosanjh has been shooting for his next film in Patiala for a long time. Some time back he has completed the shooting of Bollywood film Border 2. Now the actor is busy shooting his next film with Imtiaz Ali. But, there was chaos in Patiala city of Punjab when the shooting of Diljit Dosanjh’s new film was going on in Qila Chowk area on the morning of Tuesday, 9th December.

An important scene of Diljit Dosanjh’s film being made under the direction of filmmaker Imtiaz Ali was being shot in Qila Chowk area. The shooting started normally, but suddenly it became a cause of controversy when the crowd went out of control and tension spread on the spot. Seeing the situation worsening, the police had to immediately intervene and calm it down. In fact, for the shooting of the film, the production team had put up boards written in Urdu outside the nearby shops; the entire area was closed for some time during the preparation of the set.

The matter turned into a dispute

However, when local shopkeepers came to open their shops, the security personnel stopped them from going inside. Angered by this, an argument started between the shopkeepers and the shooting team. The matter escalated within minutes and within no time a crowd of people gathered there. As the crowd increased the atmosphere became even more tense. Local people appeared angry due to shops not being opened and roads being closed, while some people were also dissatisfied with the behavior of the film unit, due to which a slight ruckus started there.

Police calmed down the matter

The matter became so heated that someone informed the police. As soon as the information was received, the police immediately reached the spot and pacified both the parties. After which the shooting started again. According to the information, argument-like situations are often seen in this area due to shooting. Earlier too, this kind of atmosphere had arisen during the shooting of Diljit’s film Soorma. At that time people were facing problems in commuting, due to which the debate started.
