Iran launched more attacks on Israel and Gulf countries on Monday, hours after Iranian state TV said Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of the country’s late supreme leader and a longtime contender, had been named as his successor. There is no sign of any leniency from Israel and Iran. Meanwhile, Iran’s Security Chief says that as long as the war continues, the Strait of Hormuz will remain unsafe. According to information released by the US Central Command, the US attacked more than 5000 targets in Iran in the first ten days of a comprehensive military operation aimed at dismantling the country’s security infrastructure. US Central Command said that the operation was started on the instructions of the President of America. News of similar blasts in other cities of Iran was also received on social media. Iranian media did not report damage or casualties from the attacks. The IDF detected and destroyed a Hezbollah rocket launcher during an operation in southern Lebanon. During this, a Hezbollah fighter was killed.
