The wedding took place on 26 February in Udaipur and the reception took place in Hyderabad on 4 March. At the reception, Rashmika wore a red-golden saree and Vijay wore a cream kurta-dhoti.

Both Rashmika and Vijay have worked together in films like ‘Geeta Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’. Now he will be seen in a period action drama film named ‘Ranbali’. In this film, Vijay is playing the role of freedom fighter Ranbali and Rashmika is playing the role of Jayamma.
