Russia has nothing to do with it, US-NATO will resolve the Greenland issue amongst themselves

Moscow. US President Donald Trump is desperate to make Greenland a part of America. Trump is repeatedly saying that he can go to any extent to acquire Greenland. However, America’s allies have also become angry with this plan of Trump. Several NATO countries have warned against the occupation of Greenland. NATO countries have even said that they will defend Greenland in case of attack and if America attacks, it will be the end of NATO.
Now amidst all this, an interesting statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin has come to light. This statement shows that Putin is enjoying this war of words between America and Europe. Putin has recently distanced Russia from Trump’s ambitions regarding Greenland. Putin has said that Russia has nothing to do with all this and America and its NATO allies will resolve this matter among themselves. On the one hand, Putin pretended to sympathize with the people of Greenland, but on the other hand, there was not a trace of criticism in his words.
This is also surprising because Trump has repeatedly cited the fear of Russian invasion to justify the occupation of Greenland. Trump says that Russia or China will attack Greenland at any time. That is why they already want to bring it under American protection. Putin said in a statement given at the National Security Council meeting that we have nothing to do with what happens to Greenland. Well Denmark has always treated Greenland as a colony and been quite harsh towards it, but that’s a different matter altogether and I doubt anyone is interested in it right now. Certainly it doesn’t concern us. He further said that I think they will solve it among themselves.
According to the report, the Kremlin has neither criticized nor supported Trump on the Greenland issue. Russia’s indirect consent to Trump’s plans is part of a deliberate strategy. According to reports, at a time when America’s attention is focused elsewhere, Russia has a good opportunity to weaken the unity of Western countries. This strategy also seems to be working to some extent. At the same time, due to the full attention of America and Western countries on Greenland, Russia has got important time to achieve its goals in the Ukraine war.
