Now the film’s producer Vipul Amritlal Shah has given a strong reaction on this. He has raised questions on the comments made about the film.

Said- ‘I do not comment personally’

Talking to the media, Shah said, ‘See, I do not comment personally on Anurag ji. He has his own opinion. However, he also said that my director had raised a very good point, the answer to which has not yet come from Anurag ji. Let us tell you that the film ‘The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond’ has been directed by Kamakhya Narayan Singh.

Said- ‘Should his comments be taken seriously?’

Let us tell you that while talking to the media, Anurag Kashyap had criticized the trailer of ‘The Kerala Story 2’ and called it ‘propaganda’. Vipul Amritlal Shah also told that Kashyap had made a film ‘That Girl in Yellow Boots’, in which the ‘immoral relationship between father and daughter’ was shown. Should any of his comments be taken seriously? Vipul Amritlal Shah further told that director Kamakhya Narayan Singh had raised this question in front of everyone and expressed hope that Kashyap would talk openly on this. He said, ‘I had hoped that Anurag would talk openly. Perhaps their answer will come in the coming days.

What did the director of the film say?

Earlier, while responding in strong words to the ongoing controversies and criticisms regarding the film, director Kamakhya Narayan Singh also slammed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap for his statements. Speaking to news agency ANI, Kamakhya Singh asserted that Anurag Kashyap has been ‘blind to the truth’ about the society. The director said, ‘All his films have flopped for many years…he has become mentally weak. They don’t see the truth’. He further said, ‘If they have a problem with the truth shown in our film, then it means they have a problem with the entire world. Every scene of our film is based on true events. If Anurag ji wants, we will send all the research material to his house. But they have to find fault in everything. He has become blind from seeing the truth. He doesn’t want to see or understand it’.
