Tariq Rehman in action after oath…..Action started against those who commit violence against Hindus

Dhaka. Tariq Rahman has been sworn in as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh. Along with him, 13 more cabinet ministers have taken oath. Two Hindu leaders have been included in the cabinet. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Foreign Secretary Vikram Mishri arrived to attend the swearing-in on behalf of India. Tariq Rahman is seen in action after taking oath as the PM of Bangladesh. Rehman has also started working on the promises he had made before the elections. When Tariq Rahman’s promise made the most headlines, it was to bring the law and order situation of Bangladesh back on track and to implement a strict legal protection mechanism to stop the violence against Hindus.
After taking oath, Tariq Rehman has taken major action against the attacks on Hindus. The strongest action has been taken against those who were responsible for these attacks. Actually, Rehman has taken major action against the leaders who indulged in violence against Hindus and assault during elections. BNP has given show cause notice to three leaders on charges of vandalism and extortion in minority shops in Sirajganj, Bangladesh. Two more leaders have been suspended on various charges including intimidating and threatening voters. After winning the elections, Tariq Rehman’s party has taken strict steps regarding party discipline. Tariq has been talking about restoring normalcy in Bangladesh since the election campaign. He has emphasized on maintaining law and order. Discipline is also being given equal importance in his party. Show cause notice has been given to three BNP leaders on charges of attacks. It includes Firoz and Arzoo Ahmed.
Even a few hours before the oath taking ceremony, Rahman had given a big statement saying that we need everyone’s cooperation to create a safe and humane Bangladesh. Injustice cannot be done to anyone under any pretext. Law and order will have to be maintained at all costs. Tariq Rehman warned the rioters that violence, retaliation or provocation will not be tolerated at any cost.
