According to a report, some top military leaders of America and Israel held closed-door talks at the Pentagon last Friday. The meeting took place between US General Dan Kane and Chief of Staff of the Israeli Armed Forces Eyal Zamir. According to the information, as soon as Zamir returned from Washington, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held rapid meetings with the country’s top security officials.
Israeli media reported that the meetings included Defense Minister Israel Katz, Zamir, Mossad chief David Barnia and other senior officials. Katz’s office confirmed that he met with Zamir to review Israel’s military preparedness and preparedness for any possible retaliation.
