The navies of India and China came face to face to assert their rights over South East Asia?

Beijing. A new war has started between India and China for the control of South East Asia. Under this, both the countries are deploying their respective navies in this area. This show of strength by China and India is part of an effort to strengthen relations with regional countries. Meanwhile, the Indian Defense Ministry said that four ships of the First Training Squadron will be sent on missions as part of the officers’ training course, during which they will visit Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand.
China had also deployed three of its warships for extensive training in the deep sea from November 15 to December 22 as part of its efforts to maintain its military presence abroad. During this period, Chinese warships visited Vietnam, Malaysia and Indonesia. Chinese warships also shared experience with the navies of these countries and also conducted ground training. However, this was not a maneuver.
According to the report, South-East Asia is strategically located between China in the east and India in the west. China and India are increasing their influence in the region by deepening defense ties with regional countries through military deployment, arms sales and naval presence. According to a Pentagon report, China considers the First Island Chain, which borders China and most South-East Asian countries, as its strategic center. To counter China’s growing reach in the Indian Ocean, India is also increasing its geopolitical influence in Southeast Asia in line with the Act East Policy. In such a situation, India is working rapidly in this region to regain its lost land and balance the power.
The First Training Squadron of the Indian Navy comprises ships INS Tir, Shardul, Sujata and ICGS Sarathi. The squadron will be deployed to provide extensive operational and cross-cultural experience to officer trainees, including trainees from six friendly foreign countries. The personnel aboard the warships will also include members of the Indian Army and Air Force, with an aim to strengthen coordination between the three forces.
