UAE President Zayed Al Nahyan reached the public in Dubai Mall amid ongoing tension in the Middle East.

Dubai. United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum appeared in public at the Dubai Mall on Monday evening amid ongoing tensions and missile attacks in the Middle East. The visit came as missile attacks between Iran, Israel and the US continued across the region. Both the leaders roamed around the mall, meeting shoppers, posing for photographs and interacting with people. His public tour is being considered a message of peace and courage. The video, which showed him having coffee with Emirati officials and having a leisurely time at the mall, was highly appreciated by people on social media.
Although UAE air defense systems continued to intercept drones and missiles launched by Iran, the conflict increased fear and tension in the region. The attacks on Iran by the US and Israel last weekend followed retaliatory attacks in the area, damaging several iconic sites in Dubai such as a luxury hotel on the Palm Jumeirah, the Burj Al Arab and Jebel Ali Port.
