Thousands of mourners are expected to gather in Mosallah. After this farewell ceremony the last rites process will be completed.
Iran threatened
Meanwhile, Iran on Thursday threatened to target Israel’s Dimona nuclear site. Iran said that if Israel and America tried to topple its government, they would target this nuclear center. This threat came after the statement of Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz. Katz had said that whatever new leader the Iranian government brings, he will be a target for Israel.
Iran attacked with ballistic missiles
Here, Israel’s army said that Iran has once again attacked with ballistic missiles. Due to this, alarm sirens started sounding in Jerusalem, Central Israel and parts of the West Bank. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) have attacked with missiles and drones under ‘Operation True Promise 4’. This operation was started with the code name ‘Ya Hassan Ibn Ali’. The IRGC claims that they have destroyed more than seven modern radar systems of Israel and America.
IRGC warned
According to Iran’s state broadcaster Press TV, their missiles also dodged Israel’s ‘THAAD’ defense system. The IRGC claimed that they had attacked several places including the Israeli Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv and the country’s main airport ‘Ben Gurion’. Due to these attacks, sirens kept ringing for hours in many areas of Israel and people had to take shelter in bunkers. The IRGC has warned that these attacks will become more intense and larger in scale in the coming days. America says that its operation has just started. This indicates that this war may drag on longer than expected.
