Dubai again on target, buildings shaken by blast; the attack was foiled

Dubai. There were explosions again in Dubai on Friday and clouds of smoke were seen in the sky. Officials said security forces had foiled an attack. A building was damaged due to its debris falling on it. However, there is no news of anyone being injured in this incident. Amidst the ever increasing tension in West Asia, loud explosions were heard in Dubai for the second consecutive day. On Friday, many buildings in the city were shaken by the sound of loud explosions. During this time, a thick cloud of black smoke was seen in the sky in a part of central Dubai. According to eyewitnesses, there were two huge explosions that shook the entire area.

What did the administration say?

Dubai Media Office informed about this incident on social media. He said security forces successfully intercepted one of the attacks. During this action, debris from the attack fell on the exterior of a building. Officials have termed it a minor incident. The good thing is that no one died in this accident and no one was injured. According to the report, immediately after the blasts, the sounds of sirens started echoing on Sheikh Zayed Road, the main road of Dubai. The police have cordoned off the entire area for security reasons. The incident occurred near the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). The building has suffered extensive damage due to the explosion and debris.

Attack occurred for the second consecutive day

Such an incident has happened for the second consecutive day in Dubai. Earlier on Thursday too, an incident related to drones had come to light in Al Bada area. Even then the sound of explosions was heard in the center of the city. Tension has increased greatly in the Gulf region since the war in West Asia started on February 28. So far 11 civilians have died in this area due to Iran’s attacks. At present, Dubai administration is monitoring the situation and strict security arrangements have been made.
