Let us tell you, Rainbow Center of Karachi is considered to be the hub of pirated content. Carl Rock, who reached there, expressed surprise in the video and said, ‘Indian films are banned in Pakistan, but look what I got.’ To this the shopkeeper replied, ‘This is an Indian film, ‘Dhurandhar’. It has been released recently. When Rock asked the price, the shopkeeper said, ‘Sir, it is 50 Pakistani rupees (about 16 Indian rupees).’

Indian social media users were also surprised to see this. Especially on the fact that CDs and pendrives of pirated films are still being sold in Pakistan. One user commented, ‘The film which has shown Pakistan bad is being liked in Pakistan, lol.’ Another user wrote, ‘Even today, pirated DVDs are being sold in Pakistan. They used to bring CDs of pirated films here 15 years ago. Many people were also shocked by the fact that things like CDs and pen drives are still prevalent in Pakistan. One wrote, ‘Are movies still being bought on pendrives and CDs in Pakistan? In our country, this trend ended at least 10 years ago. ‘Dhurandhar’ was released on Netflix on January 30 and as soon as it was released, it reached number one in the weekly top 10 list of Netflix in both India and Pakistan, even though the Pakistani government has banned this film.
