If Khamenei is targeted, the response to unjust attack will be harsh: President Massoud

Tehran. The tension between America and Iran once again seems to be taking a dangerous turn. Iran has warned that if Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is targeted, it would be considered a war against the entire Iranian nation. Iranian President Massoud Pezheshkian said on Twitter that the response to any unjust aggression would be harsh. Meanwhile, a case of hacking of a government channel and playing videos of protests on it has also come to light.
According to media reports, this reaction of President Pejeshkian came after Trump’s statements in which Trump had said that new leadership is needed in Iran. He also warned that the US could intervene if the killing or execution of protesters continued. The Iranian President blamed America and its allies for Iran’s economic crisis. He said that ordinary Iranian citizens are facing immense difficulties due to long-standing hostility and inhumane sanctions. At the same time, the Iranian regime also admitted that more or less 5000 protesters have been killed in the demonstrations.
A case of hacking of Iran’s Badr satellite has also come to light and videos of demonstrations have been played on government channels. During this, Prince Reza Pahlavi’s message was broadcast, in which he appealed to Iranians to take to the streets to protest against the Islamic Republic. According to anti-government media outlets, this broadcast was seen on several channels for some time. This footage has also been shared by Reza Pahlavi’s media department.
However, amid strong statements, a day earlier Trump had claimed on social media that Iran had stopped the proposed execution of 800 protesters. Despite this, America has increased its military resources in the region, although Washington has not yet revealed any concrete action. Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader Khamenei termed Trump a criminal and admitted that thousands of people had died during the unrest. He has blamed America and Israel supported terrorists and rioters for the violence.
